Residential School Trips with Kosher Catering

We are delighted to offer schools intensive English language sessions at the modern and recently refurbished Grosvenor Hall facility in Ashford Kent.
Grosvenor Hall gives us the opportunity of providing Jewish students with a strictly kosher kitchen, separate kosher restaurant and separate accommodation at this English camp

Venue
Hailed as the best educational activity centre in Europe, Grosvenor Hall is a completely new centre which has been refurbished to the highest standards. The venue consists of almost 20,000 sq metres of educational, adventure and recreational facilities within a fully enclosed and secure 50 acre site with security gates, perimeter fence and CCTV cameras. Located in Ashford, Kent, it is within easy access of London’s Gatwick and Heathrow airports and has its own local Eurostar Station which is 5 minutes from the campus.

Language school - Learning English With The English
The centre buildings include 1,800 square metres of classrooms and ICT labs to provide an innovative and immersive approach to teaching English. Students are offered a full range of tailor made educational programmes to meet individual school’s and teachers’ needs. English language lessons are carefully structured to suit all levels of learners to support your curriculum. Our language teachers are hand-picked for their teaching ability and friendly, outgoing personalities. They utilise all the fantastic facilities we have and take the time to explain things carefully to bring the English language alive. Educational workbooks carefully guide students through the basic areas of language like learning verbs and nouns, to more complex lessons such as modal auxiliary verbs and present perfect continuous tense. All of the latest technology and software is used during lessons, like educational ICT software in the state-of-the-art computer language labs. Groups also have the chance to get out and see some of the surrounding area and experience more of the English language and culture with our fully supervised excursion programme.
The unique courtroom allows students to practice their English by debating diverse issue. And the media centre with its state of the art radio station and podcasting facilities gives students the opportunity of creating their own English language programme for broadcasting to the entire centre.

Facilities & Activities
To retain students interest and combine fun with learning the Campus also offers some of the most exciting activities available in Europe. There is a 2,500 sq metres sports hall, an indoor aquatics centre and a $2million high-adrenaline activity park. Accommodation
Grosvenor Hall boasts modern and bright student accommodation with new bathrooms. Sheets, duvets and pillows are all provided for each student. Towels and hairdryers are not supplied.
Our Jewish students will be housed in their own sleeping area with supervised by our own counsellors over seeing their welfare. Boys and girls are housed separately.
There is also a modern Staff Room area where teachers are able to relax away from the students and enjoy coffee, TV and comfortable sofa chairs as well as internet access.

Excursions
Included in our price, is a full day trip to London and options such as a visit to Madame Tussaud or the London Eye can also be arranged.

Kashrut
On the premises is a dedicated kosher kitchen and restaurant for our Jewish students. All kosher products are under the supervision of the London Beth Din. There is also the possibility of arranging morning minyamin.

Trip Duration
We are able to offer:
● 5 day/4 night trips - Monday to Friday
● 8 day/7 night trips - Sunday to Sunday

Prices start from €198 Euros per student for a 5 day trip and €320 Euros for an 8 day trip.
These prices include: Accommodation - 3 kosher meals per day (packed lunches for excursions) - Language sessions - Activity sessions - Full day tour of London
Transport to the venue is additional and will be quoted on a case by case basis depending on where the class is travelling from and the number of students.

Teachers: One free adult place per 10 paying students

Public Liability Insurance
All visiting groups are covered by the centres GBP20million public liability insurance. Policy details are available upon request

Tower of London – This historic landmark has served a variety of functions in its time, being utilized as everything from a royal palace to a prison

Guided tour of Jewish London and visit to London’s oldest and still functioning synagogue

Visit the National Gallery-This magnificent museum features pieces from Giotto to Picasso which are all represented in this skillfully arranged Artists collection

Shopping with visits to the famous Harrods and London’s High Street

Dinner at Hotel

West End Production- London’s Broadway see a show playing in one of London’s West End theaters. We will provide a detailed list of shows playing during your stay in London. Shows are all at different prices and times.

Day 4

Shakespeare workshop at the Globe theater- visit and participate in a theater workshop at the famous Shakespeare’s 18th century Globe theater where you will start with a tour and participate in a number of programs of your choice

Visit to Madame Tussauds wax museum- Enjoy a visit to the worlds famous Madam Tussauds house of wax where you can see famous celebrities and people of interest in real life for. All made from the wax creations in the house of Madam Tussaud who started her trade making wax copies of guillotine heads .

Carnaby Street- The birthplace of London’s music scene and now a really “cool” shopping street with avante garde boutiques
